THE TEXAS PUBLIC BROADCASTING ASSOCIATION WILL INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS, DEVELOP MECHANISMS FOR MEMBER COOPERATIVE EFFORTS, AND PROMOTE THE FUNDING AND GENERAL WELL-BEING OF PUBLIC BROADCASTING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE OF TEXAS.

THE TEXAS PUBLIC BROADCASTING ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS THE 10 TEXAS PUBLIC TELEVISION STATIONS. THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS FUNDRAISING FOR THE STATIONS ALONG WITH STATEWIDE UNDERWRITING. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO WORKS WITH STATE AGENCIES AND OTHER STATEWIDE ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP NEW PROGRAMMING EDUCATION OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. THE ASSOCIATION MANAGES THESE ACTIVITIES FOR THE STATIONS AND PROVIDES FINANCIAL AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR JOINT PROJECTS.


THE TEXAS PUBLIC BROADCASTING ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS THE 12 PUBLIC TELEVISION STATIONS ACROSS TEXAS. THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS FUNDRAISING AND PROVIDES RESOURCES FOR ALL MEMBERS STATIONS TO ENSURE THE SUSTAINABILITY OF PUBLIC MEDIA THROUGHOUT TEXAS. THEY PARTNER WITH OTHER STATE AGENCIES TO DEVELOPE NEW PROGRAMMING EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH EVENTS AND UNIFYING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES. AS AN ADVOCATE AND PARTICIPANT IN SAID ACTIVITIES, THE ASSOCIATION FOSTERS AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE PUBLIC ISSUES CAN BE ILLUMINATED TO MASSES BY RELEVANT CONTENT AND PROGRAMMING.
