ON MAY 2ND 2021, SHI ZHANG FAMILY FOUNDATION HOSTED AN ONLINE ZOOM WEBINAR ON GIRLS IN STEM LEADERSHIP. FOUR DISTINGUISHED WOMAN LEADERS IN STEM WERE THE FEATURED PANELISTS, WITH AN ONLINE AUDIENCE OF AROUND 100 PARTICIPANTS.


ON JULY 21, 2021, IN COLLABORATION WITH SILICON VALLEY ASIAN ART CENTER, SHI ZHANG FAMILY FOUNDATION HOSTED A CURATED PRIVATE VIEWING ON THE FAMED FUCHUN MOUNTAIN FIGURE PAINTING. THE INVITEES HAD A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO VIEW IN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE FAMED ART PIECE. REGARDED AS ONE OF THE TOP TEN HISTORIC INK PAINTINGS OF CHINA, "FUCHUN MOUNTAIN FIGURE" IS THE YUAN DYNASTY PAINTER HUANG GONGWANGS WORK, CREATED IN 1347 TO 1350, WITH ZHEJIANG FUCHUNJIANG AS THE BACKGROUND. HUANG GONGWANG, WAS LATER PRAISED AS "THE FIRST GOD OF LANDSCAPE PAINTING." THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE ART PIECE IS ABOUT 690 CM. THE CURATOR WAS MR. LIU, A FAMOUS ART HISTORIAN AND CRITIQUE.


CALLIGRAPHY WAS THE PARAMOUNT VISUAL ART IN PRE-MODERN CHINA. USING ONLY BRUSH AND INK, CALLIGRAPHERS DEVELOPED THEIR TECHNIQUES OVER GENERATIONS. TODAY, THIS POWERFULLY GRAPHIC ART IS STILL CELEBRATED AS AN OUTWARD EXPRESSION OF THE ARTISTS INNER PSYCHOLOGY. ITS RHYTHM, MOVEMENT AND FLOW ARE ACCESSIBLE TO ANYONE WHO VIEWS IT.SHI ZHANG FAMILY FOUNDATION HOSTED A CURATED PRIVATE VIEWING FOR THE FIFTH JOINT EXHIBITION OF THE ANTIQUARIAN CLUB OF CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY FROM AUGUST 28TH TO SEPTEMBER 8TH, WITH A TOTAL OF 27 EXHIBITOR UNDER THE APPRENTICESHIP OF FAMED CALLIGRAPHER PROFESSOR CHANG QIANLI. THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE HUNDRED ART PIECES OF CALLIGRAPHY WORKS ON DISPLAY.IN COLLABORATION WITH SILICON VALLEY ASIAN ART CENTER, ALSO CONCURRENTLY ON DISPLAY IS A RARE QING DYNASTYS GIANT RUBBING OF THE CHINA'S MOST WELL-KNOWN STELE RECORD OF THE SHANHE WEIR" FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE CLUB AND THE SPECTATORS TO APPRECIATE. RECORD OF THE SHANHE WEIR" WAS A MASTER PIECE FROM SONG DYNASTY AND WIDELY


SHI ZHANG FAMILY FOUNDATION HOSTED A GATHERING OF INVESTORS AND ASIAN ART LOVERS ON OCT 4, 2021 AT THE PETERSON LOUNGE OF ASIAN ART MUSEUM IN SAN FRANCISCO. THE GATHERING FEATURED A LIVELY DISCUSSION ON CRYPTO INVESTMENT, AS WELL AS A CURATED VIEWING OF CONTEMPORARY ASIAN ART EXHIBITIONS CURATED BY THE HEAD OF CONTEMPORARY ART DEPARTMENT MS. ABBEY CHEN, AS WELL AS A TOUR OF THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED TEAMLAB EXHIBITION AT ASIAN ART MUSEUM.
