CONCERTS: NAPA VALLEY FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION (NVFA) PRESENTS INSPIRING PROGRAMS THAT ELEVATE THE REGION AS A CULTURAL DESTINATION AND MAKE THE ARTS ACCESSIBLE TO ALL. NVFA PRESENTS THE ANNUAL FESTIVAL NAPA VALLEY, OFFERING THE FINEST IN THE PERFORMING ARTS INCLUDING ORCHESTRAL AND CHAMBER MUSIC, JAZZ, DANCE, OPERA, BALLET AND THEATER, FREE COMMUNITY CONCERTS, CONCERTS FOR KIDS, AND A YOUNG ARTIST SERIES. VENUES RANGE FROM PERFORMING ARTS CENTERS TO SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, CHURCHES, WINERIES, AND OUTDOOR STAGES.
EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES: NAPA VALLEY FESTIVAL ASSOCIATION SPONSORS A WIDE RANGE OF EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES, SUPPORTING K-12 VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS, AND PROGRAMS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH. EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES ALSO INCLUDE A TUITION-FREE SUMMER MUSIC ACADEMY FOR COLLEGIATE, GRADUATE, AND EARLY-CAREER PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS; MERIT AND NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS; AND ARTS FOR ALL SUMMER CAMPS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS.
