THE '68 PROJECT WORKS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN ESTABLISHED STATE-BASED ORGANIZATIONS AND MANY OF THE NEW ATHLETE- AND ARTISTS-LED INITIATIVES TO ENCOURAGE STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT AND COORDINATION. THE PROJECT'S GOAL IS TO SECURE CONCRETE GAINS FOR BLACK AMERICANS THROUGH PROVEN AND PROACTIVE STRATEGIES, PUBLIC AND ECONOMIC PRESSURE, AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF A LEGISLATIVE AGENDA THAT SEEKS TO DISMANTLE INSTITUTIONAL RACISM.
