TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE TO THE URBAN LEAGUE AND THE URBAN LEAGUE'S MISSION THROUGH: SOLICITING FUNDS FOR MUTUALLY AGREED UPON PROJECTS THAT FURTHER THE GOALS AND MISSION OF THE URBAN LEAGUE; MANAGING RESOURCES AND DISTRIBUTING FUNDS NEEDED BY THE URBAN LEAGUE AND THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY IN GREATER MADISON; AND PROMOTING AWARENESS OF THE URBAN LEAGUE AND ITS MISSION AND AGENDA.THE URBAN LEAGUE OF GREATER MADISON, INC. (THE "URBAN LEAGUE") IS AN IRS APPROVED PUBLIC CHARITY WITH A MISSION IS TO ENSURE THAT AFRICAN AMERICANS AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE EDUCATED, EMPLOYED AND EMPOWERED TO LIVE WELL, ADVANCE PROFESSIONALLY AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMON GOOD IN THE 21ST CENTURY, WITH THE VISION OF MAKING GREATER MADISON THE BEST PLACE IN THE MIDWEST FOR EVERYONE TO LIVE, LEARN, AND WORK.
