Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3

THIS YEAR, WE CONTINUED TO REALIZE OUR STATED MISSION AND TUTOR STUDENTS. THROUGH OUR SERVICES, STUDENTS WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE HAD ACCESS TO ONE-ON-ONE ACADEMIC SUPPORT FOUND SUCCESS IN THEIR STUDIES IN THE FIELDS OF MATHEMATICS, HISTORY, ENGLISH, SCIENCE, STANDARDIZED TEST PREP, COLLEGE ESSAYS, AND LITERACY INTERVENTION. WE ALSO SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED A NEW PROGRAM THAT OFFERS BILINGUAL AND PERSONALIZED COLLEGE COUNSELING TO DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS. WE IMPROVED OUR OUTREACH TO THE COMMUNITY, MAINTAINED BETTER RECORDS OF OUR PROGRAMMING, TRACKED METRICS AND SATISFACTION, AND BEGAN AN EXPANSION INTO MONTEZUMA COUNTY. OUR PROGRAM IS STILL SMALL, BUT THE IMPACT ON STUDENT OUTCOMES IS ALREADY DEMONSTRABLY GREAT. IT TOOK A WHILE TO BUILD MOMENTUM, BUT ONCE WE PERFORMED ENOUGH OUTREACH, WE SUSTAINED INTENSIVE, PERSONALIZED SUPPORT FOR MANY LOW-INCOME STUDENTS. A HUGE VICTORY FOR US THIS YEAR IS THAT WE SIGNIFICANTLY RAMPED UP OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS IN A MAJOR TEXT CAMPAIGN THAT EARNED US $26,155.46. WITH THIS INCREASED FUNDING, WE INTEND TO HIRE AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR INSTEAD OF RELYING ON VOLUNTEER-BASED DIRECTOR WORK. WE BELIEVE THAT THIS CHANGE WILL ENABLE US TO GROW OUR IMPACT. FURTHERMORE, WE INTEND TO INVEST MORE IN ADVERTISING AND OUTREACH, SOMETHING WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO IN THE PAST DUE TO OUR SMALL SIZE.
