THE MISSION OF ABILENE RESTORATION MINISTRIES ARM IS TO OPERATE A RESIDENTIAL MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE FACILITY.

ABILENE RESTORATION MINISTRIES, INC. ARM PURCHASED THREE HOUSES DURING 2022 TO BE USED AS TRANSITION HOUSES FOR MEN THAT HAVE COMPLETED THE TWELVE MONTH PROGRAM. THESE GRADUATES, WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT, LIVE IN THE HOUSES WITH SUPERVISION UNTIL THEY ARE ABLE TO MOVE TO THEIR HOMES OR FIND THEIR OWN LIVING QUARTERS. THESE HOUSES ARE IN ADDITION TO THE MAIN HOUSE PURCHASED IN 2021, MAKING A TOTAL OF 4 UNITS HOUSING UP TO 48 MEN.


ABILENE RESTORATION MINISTRIES, INC. ARM BEGAN INTENSIVE JOB SKILLS TRAINING IN THE AREAS OF LANDSCAPING, WELDING, RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION, AND HVAC, GIVING THE MEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THESE SKILLS AND RECEIVE AN HOURLY WAGE FOR THEIR EFFORTS. PARTNERING WITH SEVERAL COMPANIES, SOME OF THE MEN WERE ABLE TO ENTER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS.


ABILENE RESTORATION MINISTRIES, INC. ARM BEGAN BUILDING INTERNAL STAFF FOR THE ORGANIZATION ALONG WITH ADDING MORE SUPERVISORS FOR THE WORK CREWS. STAFFING PERSONNEL INCREASED FROM 3 PERSONS IN 2021 TO 7 PERSONS. THE INCREASE WAS NECESSARY TO PROVIDE QUALITY MANAGEMENT OF THE MINISTRY.
