ACQUIRED OR PURCHASED SURPLUS FOOD PREDOMINANTLY FROM FARMERS AND DISTRIBUTED IT WITH EMPATHY TO PEOPLE EXPERIENCING FOOD INSECURITY. VOLUNTEER POWERED ORGANIZATION COORDINATED EVERY STEP FROM FINDING NEW SOURCES OF NUTRITIOUS SURPLUS FOOD TO ORGANIZING TRANSPORTATION TO ENSURING RESCUED FOOD WAS GIVEN TO PEOPLE WITH FOOD INSECURITY FOR FREE. SUPPORTED THE FARMING COMMUNITY AND WORKED TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR THE FOOD SYSTEM. IN 2022 EASTWEST FOOD RESCUE DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 3,000,000 POUNDS OF FOOD TO ORGANIZATIONS SERVING THOSE WITH FOOD INSECURITY.
