TO CULTIVATE ARTISTIC CREATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN NEW MEXICO THROUGH A WIDE RANGE OF ART MEDIUMS INCLUDING LIVE PERFORMANCE, FILM & DIGITAL MEDIA, STUDIO ART, AND MORE.

THEATER & GALLERY: THE CENTER HAS RE-ESTABLISHED N4TH THEATER AS A VENUE FOR IN-HOUSE PERFORMANCES, ARTS TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTIONS, AS WELL AS OFFERING AFFORDABLE THEATER RENTALS TO YOUNG COMPANIES WHICH THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD. THROUGH ACCESS TO FELLOWSHIPS AND WORKSHOPS, LOCAL AND NATIONAL FESTIVALS, AND BY RE-LAUNCHING THE RESIDENT MIXED ABILITY COMPANY, BUEN VIAJE, THE THEATER PROGRAM HAS PROVIDED OPPORTUNTIES FOR PERFORMERS, WRITERS, PRODUCERS, AND DIRECTORS TO CENTER THEIR WORK IN THE COMMUNITY AND NEW MEXICO'S EXPANDING FILM INDUSTRY. THE GALLERY HAS MOUNTED SIX EXHIBITS IN N4TH GALLERY, ALL EXPLORING DIVERSE ISSUES AND PERSPECTIVES. WITH AN EMPHASIS ON LOCAL ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY RNGAGEMENT, N4TH GALLERY HAS HIGHLIGHTED THE WORK OF UNDERREPRESENTED ARTISTS THROUGH A FOCUS ON INTERNATIONAL ISSUES, THE ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN INTERACTIONS WITH NATURE


EDUCATION: THE EDUCATION PROGRAM OFFERS ART CLASSES FOR THE COMMUNITY IN A RANGE OF MEDIA FOR DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING ONGOING CLASSES FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. THE PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS THE COMMUNITY AFFORDABLE CLASSROOM SPACE FOR WORKSHOPS, ARTS EVENTS, AND ACTIVITIES


OUTREACH: THE OUTREACH PROGRAM BROUGHT THE ARTS INTO THE COMMUNITIES OF THREE ALBUQUERQUE SCHOOLS BY USING PHOTOGRAPHY AS A TOOL FOR COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT AND CIVIC ENGAGEMENT. CANDID COMMUNITIES 2022 CULMINATED IN A MULTI-COMMUNITY PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE AT N4TH GALLERY
