THE ALBUQUERQUE CHAPTER OF MOAA PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO MILITARY STUDENTS IN COLLEGE, AWARDS FOR EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE TO JUNIOR ROTC STUDENTS IN HIGH SCHOOL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO WORTHY JROTC PROGRAMS. MOAA ALSO PROMOTES THE MILITARY CAREER LIFE. THE CHAPTER CONDUCTS ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERS ON MEMORIAL HOLIDAYS AND OTHER DAYS SPECIFIED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THEY ALSO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT MILITARY PERSONS OVERSEAS, SUCH AS BLUE AND GOLD STAR MOTHERS. THE ALBUQUERQUE CHAPTER PROVIDES SUPPORT TO THE NEW MEXICO VETERANS MEMORIAL AND THE NEW MEXICO VETERANS INTEGRATION CENTER.
