PROVIDING YOUTH LIVING ON THE YAKAMA INDIAN RESERVATION WITH EMPLOYMENT AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS MUCH NEEDED MENTORING, CHARACTER BUILDING, AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM THAT TEACHES JOB SKILLS IN THE SCREEN PRINTING AND EMBROIDERY INDSUTRY. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM WE TEACH WORK ETHIC, FINANCIAL LITERACY, JOB PREPAREDNESS, AND CHARACTER SKILLS. BY THE END OF 2021 WE HAVE EMPLOYED 17 YOUTH, HELPED 6 EMPLOYEES OBTAIN THEIR DRIVER'S LICENSES, HELPED 6 EMPLOYEES OPEN BANK ACCOUNTS, HELPED COMPLETE 3 COLLEGE APPLICATION AND 3 FAFSA FORMS, PROVIDED 40 CHARACTER SKILL LESSONS AND SERVED HUNDREDS OF LUNCHES. EMPLOYEES ARE LEARNING VOCATIONAL SKILLS AND SOFT SKILLS SUCH AS PUBLIC SPEAKING, ORGANIZATION, COOPERATION, AND TEAM WORK.


DEVELOP A ROBOTICS TRAINING PROGRAM FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH. TAUGHT 68 3RD GRADERS AN INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS.
