TO COORDINATE A REGIONAL WORKFORCE SYSTEM THAT SUPPORTS INDIVIDUAL PROSPERITY AND BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS.

DISLOCATED WORKER - WORKSYSTEMS OFFERS AN ARRAY OF SERVICES FOR WORKERS FACING LOSS OF JOBS. THESE INCLUDE PRE-LAYOFF SERVICES, POST LAYOFF SERVICES AND RAPID RESPONSE SERVICES TO ASSIST THOSE AFFECTED BY MAJOR PLANT CLOSURES OR LAYOFFS.YOUTH - WORKSYSTEMS, INC. INVESTS IN AN ARRAY OF ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING SERVICES TO YOUTH AGES 14-21. OUR INVESTMENTS HELP PREPARE YOUNG PEOPLE FOR SUCCESSFUL TRANSITION TO POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT WITH CAREER POTENTIAL. INVESTMENTS ARE FOCUSED ON LOW-INCOME YOUTH, AGES 14-24, WHO ARE SCHOOL DROPOUTS, BASIC ACADEMIC SKILLS DEFICIENT, HOMELESS OR RUNAWAY, PREGNANT OR PARENTING, OFFENDERS, AND/OR IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE TO COMPLETE AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM OR TO SECURE AND RETAIN EMPLOYMENT.ADULT - WORKSYSTEMS OFFERS A RANGE OF SERVICES AND INFORMATION TO ADULTS SEEKING EMPLOYMENT, INCLUDING SKILL DEVELOPMENT, WORK PREPAREDNESS TRAINING, AND JOB SEARCH ASSISTANCE. THIS PROGRAM ALSO SEEKS TO PRODUCE A SKILLED WORKFORCE THAT SUPPORTS REGIONAL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS.APPROXIMATELY 50 SMALLER BUT SIMILAR PROGRAMS, ALL RELATED TO TRAINING, IMPROVING JOB SKILLS AND MARKETABILITY FOR INDIVIDUALS.
