IT IS THE MISSION, DUTY AND PURPOSE OF THE MAKER'S HUB TO CREATE AND OPERATE A MAKERSPACE TYPE FACILITY IN ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGED AREAS AND EQUIP IT WITH TOOLS/EQUIPMENT, EDUCATION AND SPACE FOR MAKERS, INVENTORS AND ASPIRING ENTREPRENEURS TO CREATE PRODUCTS, NEW IDEAS, ENTERPRISES AND LEGACY. THE INTENTION IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY AND RESOURCES FOR MEMBERS TO HONE THEIR CRAFTS, INCUBATE AND LAUNCH ENTERPRISES, BORROW TOOLS, LEARN HOW TO USE EQUIPMENT FOR TRADES, VOCATIONAL TRAINING, TO INVENT NEW PRODUCTS AND/OR FOR BUSINESS INCUBATION, LAUNCH AND START-UPS. MEMBERS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, MENTORS AND EDUCATORS WILL PROVIDE TRAINING, GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT.
