THE INN AT THE LAKE HAS TEN GUEST ROOMS AND A COMMUNAL DINING SPACE. WE DEPLOY OUR BEAUTIFUL FACILITIES AND PRIME LOCATION AS AN AFFORDABLE OASIS FOR GUESTS LOOKING FOR SPIRITUAL AND CREATIVE RENEWAL. A STAY AT THE INN INCLUDES MULTIPLE DAILY OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMMUNITY-BUILDING AND SPIRITUAL REFLECTION. THESE OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:IGNITE LECTURES. FIVE MINUTE DAILY TALKS THAT PROVOKE DEEPER CONVERSATION, ENCOURAGE MORE INTENTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS, AND INSPIRE A GENEROUS PERSPECTIVE ON THE NEEDS AND STRUGGLES OF OTHERS. CAMPFIRE TIME. AN INFORMAL NIGHTLY GATHERING AROUND THE CAMPFIRE TO SWAP STORIES, STARGAZE, ENJOY LIVE MUSIC, AND CONNECT WITH NEW FRIENDS.CREATIVE INSPIRATION. OUR GUESTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT WITH ARTISTS BOTH ON OUR GROUNDS AND IN THE SURROUNDING AREA, AS WELL AS EXPLORE THEIR OWN CREATIVE IMPULSES. IN 2020 WE SPONSORED EIGHT PERFORMANCES BY A MUSICAL DUO, BOTH OUTSIDE AROUND THE CAMPFIRE AND IN THE LODGE. THE INN'S CULTURE OF SOCIAL CROSS-POLLINATION AND THE STUNNING NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE REGION CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE OF PERVASIVE CREATIVE INSPIRATION FOR ARTISTS AND NON-ARTISTS ALIKE. OVERNIGHT STAYS BEGIN IN JUNE AND END IN SEPTEMBER EACH YEAR. IN KEEPING WITH OUR MISSION OF WELCOMING PEOPLE OF ALL BACKGROUNDS, INCOMES AND IDENTITIES, WE OFFER A VOLUNTEER STAFF PROGRAM TO EXPAND THE ACCESSIBILITY OF THE INN TO FOLKS WHO WISH TO VOLUNTEER A FEW HOURS EACH DAY IN EXCHANGE FOR FREE ROOM AND PARTIAL BOARD IN OUR ADJACENT VOLUNTEER HOUSING.
