WE SERVE VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES IN PARTNERSHIP TOWARD COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

THRIVING SKILLS -- 3 ORPHAN-CARE ORGANIZATIONS IN COLOMBIA AND GUATEMALA WERE EQUIPPED WITH CURRICULUM, SKILLS, PERSONNEL, MENTORING, AND IMPLEMENTATION PROCESSES FOR PREPARING ORPHANS AND AT-RISK YOUTH FOR THRIVING INDEPENDENTLY AS THEY AGE INTO ADULTHOOD AND OUT OF SYSTEMS OF CARE. AN INITIAL 44 ORPHANS AND 45 AT-RISK YOUTH WENT THROUGH 2021 PROGRAMS IN THESE THREE LOCATIONS, AND HUNDREDS MORE WILL GO THROUGH THE PROGRAMS OVER THE NEXT FEW YEARS AS THESE INSTITUTIONS EXPAND THIS NEW EFFORT.
TANZANIA ENTREPRENEURSHIP -- 1,900 PEOPLE WERE IMPACTED THROUGH NEW SKILLS, CONNECTIONS AND INCOME SOURCES LEARNED FROM ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING, COACHING IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROVIDED BY FLINT'S TANZANIAN PARTNERS. WE ALSO FACILITATED A REVOLVING LOAN FUND TO HELP PARTICIPANTS LAUNCH AND GROWN THEIR OWN BUSINESSES.
MUWASA FARMERS ASSOCIATION - PARTNERSHIP WITH FLINT RESULTED IN SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF 3.5 ACRE FARM AND AGRICULTURAL TRAINING LOCATION. THIS FARM DIRECTLY IMPACTED 42 PEOPLE BY IMPROVING HOUSEHOLD INCOMES AND ACCESS TO FOOD, MEDICAL CARE, EDUCATION, AND SHELTER.
PARTNERSHIPS IN INDIA, KENYA AND RWANDA. GRANT FUNDS APPLIED TO START MICRO-ENTERPRISES, BUSINESS COOPERATIVES, SUPPORT AGRIBUSINESSES. FLINT ALSO PROVIDED TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS IN THESE POOR COMMUNITIES IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES, PRACTICAL BUSINESS SKILLS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL GROWTH MINDSET.
