OUTLIER SOCIETY FELLOWSHIP WORKS TO ELEVATE ECLECTIC VOICES, PRESERVE AUTHENTIC PERSPECTIVES, AND SHAPE CULTURE IN A WAY THAT ADDRESSES INEQUITY AND PERPETUATES EQUALITY. WE WORK TO ENABLE SUSTAINABLE CHANGE.

OUTLIER SOCIETY FELLOWSHIP IS AN INTERNSHIP AND MENTORSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDING ACCESS, OPPORTUNITY, AND COMMUNITY TO UNDERREPRESENTED YOUNG PEOPLE ENTERING MEDIA, ARTS, AND ENTERTAINMENT. THE ORGANIZATION RAISED FUNDS FOR THIS PROGRAM IN 2020, BUT DID NOT INCUR ANY PROGRAM EXPENSES DURING THE YEAR. DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID-19, OUTLIER SOCIETY FELLOWSHIP FORGED AHEAD AMID SUMMER INTERNSHIP CANCELATIONS TO OFFER LIVE VIRTUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AS WELL AS ONGOING COMMUNITY RESOURCES.
THE ORGANIZATION COLLABORATES WITH EQUITY INITIATIVES AND DIVERSITY ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS TO INCREASE MENTORING, ACCESS, OPPORTUNITY, AND COMMUNITY ACROSS THE MEDIA, ARTS, AND ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.
