UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE LANE WORKFORCE PARTNERSHIP BOARD OF DIRECTORS, WORKSOURCE LANE PROVIDES ONE POINT OF ACCESS TO BUSINESSES AND JOB SEEKERS WHERE THEY RECEIVE A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES: - 880 JOB LISTINGS WERE POSTED IN IMATCH SKILLS IN TARGETED SECTORS - 88 JOB SEEKERS WERE PLACED IN TARGETED INDUSTRIES. - OVER 7,100 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED JOB AND CAREER SERVICES. - 44 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED OCCUPATIONAL TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS. - 58 INDIVIDUALS WERE PLACED IN ON-THE-JOB TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES. - 8 NEW BUSINESSES UTILIZED THE ON-THE-JOB TRAINING PROGRAM.
WORKING WITH EDUCATION AND BUSINESS, THE LANE WORKFORCE PARTNERSHIP HELPS YOUTH (AGES 14-24 YEARS) TO GAIN WORK READINESS, ACADEMIC AND OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS TO INCREASE THEIR SUCCESS AS THEY TRANSITION FROM SCHOOL TO ADDITIONAL EDUCATION OR WORK. OF THE YOUTH PARTICIPATING IN ONE OF OUR CONTRACTED PROGRAMS: - 233 YOUTH SERVED. - 43 PARTICIPATED IN A WORK EXPERIENCE. - 8 COMPLETED AN INTERNSHIP WITH OCCUPATIONAL SKILL GAINS AND ACHIEVED POSITIVE EVALUATIONS.
