Describe the Organization's Mission:

Part 3 - Line 1

TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT IN A DIGNIFIED MANNER TO DISTRESSED FAMILIES IN ALBANIA, AND TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS WHOSE LIVES AND LIVELIHOODS ARE DEVASTATED BY POVERTY AND DISASTER TO SURVIVE, RECOVER AND GAIN CONTROL OF THEIR FUTURE.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

BRAVE LITTLE WARRIORS - THE BRAVE LITTLE WARRIORS PROGRAM IS A VITAL INITIATIVE THAT AIMS TO ENSURE THAT CHILDREN IN NEED HAVE ACCESS TO THE MEDICAL CARE THEY DESERVE. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO ASSIST CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM SERIOUS OR CHRONIC DISEASES WHOSE FAMILIES, DUE TO ECONOMIC DIFFICULTIES, ARE UNABLE TO COVER THE COSTS OF HEALTH TREATMENTS. THIS CAN INCLUDE EVERYTHING FROM DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES AND LABORATORY TESTS TO SURGERIES, MEDICATIONS, AND POST-OPERATIVE CARE. THE FOUNDATION WORKS CLOSELY WITH FONDACIONI FIRDEUS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, AND HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS TO IDENTIFY AND ASSESS THE NEEDS OF PATIENTS WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. ONCE A PATIENT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AND THEIR CASE HAS BEEN EVALUATED, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL AID TO COVER THE COSTS OF THEIR MEDICAL TREATMENT. IN SOME CASES, PATIENTS MAY REQUIRE SPECIALIZED CARE THAT IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THEIR HOME COUNTRY. IN SUCH INSTANCES, THE FOUNDATION WILL WORK TO ARRANGE FOR PATIENTS TO RECEIVE TREATMENT AT HOSPITALS IN EUROPE. THIS MAY INVOLVE COORDINATING TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS ARRANGING FOR MEDICAL CONSULTATIONS AND TREATMENTS. OVERALL, THE GOAL OF OUR BRAVE LITTLE WARRIORS PROGRAM IS TO ENSURE THAT CHILDREN HAVE ACCESS TO THE MEDICAL CARE THEY NEED, REGARDLESS OF THEIR FINANCIAL SITUATION, AND TO PROVIDE THEM WITH THE BEST POSSIBLE CHANCE FOR RECOVERY AND A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.

NOURISHING LIVES - NOURISHING LIVES IS OUR PROGRAM DEDICATED TO PROVIDING FOOD AND CLOTHING ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE STRUGGLING TO MEET THEIR BASIC NEEDS. OUR PROGRAM AIMS TO ALLEVIATE HUNGER AND POVERTY BY PROVIDING NUTRITIOUS MEALS AND CLOTHING TO THOSE IN NEED.
