THE COUNCIL'S CENTRAL OPERATIONS PROVIDED DIRECT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND CLOTHING, FURNITURE, AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD GOODS FOR LOW OR NO COST TO THE HOMELESS AND THOSE IN NEED. THE COUNCIL PROVIDES THIS SUPPORT THROUGH THE OPERATION OF TWO RESALE STORES FOR THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2021.
CENTRAL OPERATIONS OF THE COUNCIL OVERSEES THE ACTIVITY OF ROUGHLY 100 CONFERENCES IN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CHICAGO. CONFERENCES PROVIDE EMERGENCY AID, FOOD, SHELTER, UTILITIES, ETC. FOR THE NEEDY WITHIN THE PARISH.
