BUCKEYE FRIENDS SCHOOL MISSION IS TO INSPIRE EACH CHILD WITH A LIFETIME LOVE OF LEARNING. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS THROUGH A SELF-DIRECTED-PROJECT-BASED-EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING PROGRAM. STUDENTS AND THEIR EXTENDED FAMILIES BENEFIT FROM THE AUTONOMY THAT BUCKEYE CREATES.

WE HAVE A SELF-DIRECTED-PROJECT-BASED-EXPERIMENTAL LEARNING PROGRAM THAT WAS HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL IN 2021/2022. STUDENTS AND THEIR EXTENDED FAMILIES BENEFITED FROM THE AUTONOMY THAT BUCKEYE CREATES. THIS HANDS TYPE OF LEARNING ALLOWS THE STUDENTS TO GRASP IDEAS QUICKLY AND LEARN MORE ABOUT WORKING TOGETHER AND THE PROJECTS. THIS YEAR, THE STUDENTS PLANNED, MEASURED, CUT AND BUILT A ROCKETSHIP. THE COMPLETE PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY THE STUDENTS WITH THE GUIDANCE OF THE TEACHERS. THE STUDENTS ALSO DESIGNED, CREATED AND CARED FOR A GARDEN DURING THE CURRENT YEAR. DURING THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR ONE OF OUR JUNIOR AGED (17 YEARS OLD) STUDENTS GRADUATED FROM BUCKEYE FRIENDS SCHOOL AND BEGAN ATTENDING COLLEGE ON A FULL-TIME BASIS, ACHIEVING HIGH HONORS AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL.
