TO LEASE, MANAGE, ACQUIRE AND STEWARD UNDEVELOPED PROPERTY CONTAINING NATURAL HABITAT TO COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION, AND TO IMPROVE THE PUBLIC'S EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION BY PRESERVING THE LAND FOR EDUCATION, PUBLIC RECREATION AND THE ENJOYMENT OF NATURE. TO PRESERVE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY MANAGING AND OPERATING ECOLOGICALLY SIGNIFICANT UNDEVELOPED LAND, AND MAINTAINING THE LAND WITH LIMITED PUBLIC ACCESS IN ITS NATURAL STATE TO CONSERVE NATURAL RESOURCES FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
