MAINTAIN A GALLERY FOR ARTISTS TO SHOW AND SELL THEIR WORK. THE SHOWS IN THE GALLERY IN 2020 CONTINUED BUT CROWDS WERE LIMITED AS COVID BECAME WORSE. WE DID MANAGE THE BEST OF THE GORGE SHOW IN THE GALLERY WITH 87 ENTRIES FROM 37 ARTISTS IN SEPTEMBER BUT THE REMAINING SHOWS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR WERE SPARSELY ATTENDED. IN 2021 WE CANCELLED 4 UPCOMING SHOWS.
OPERATE A THEATRE FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES, FILMS AND LECTURES. WITH ONGOING COVID, WE PRODUCED TWO SHOWS WHICH WERE FILMED AND OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC. WE ALSO BROUGHT MILAGRO THEATRE'S LATEST SHOW FROM PORTLAND TO THE HOOD RIVER FOR 5 PERFORMANCES WITH AUDIENCE BY FILM. WE FILMED 12 ACTORS READING CHRISTMAS STORIES AND THAT WAS WELL ATTENDED ONLINE.
PROVIDED EDUCATION AND OUTREACH, INCLUDING A STUDIO AND WORKSHOP SPACE. MAKER'S WORKSHOP IN OUR EDUCATION WING HAD SIGNED UP 70 CHILDREN FOR THE 5 MAKER'S WORKSHOPS, BUT MOST PEOPLE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID AND WE CANCELLED THE CLASSES. WE WERE ABLE TO RESUME SEVERAL CLASSES OUTSIDE IN MAY OF 2021.
VARIOUS OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES. INCLUDING RENTAL OF SPACE TO LOCAL GROUPS FOR DAY / SHORT-TERM USE.
