OUR PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE RECOVERY OF NATIVE AMERICANS SUFFERING FROM ETHNOCIDE, COLONIALISM, LOSS OF LAND, CULTURE AND LANGUAGE CAUSING POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS, GENERATIONAL HARDSHIP/POVERTY, AND HISTORICAL TRAUMA.

NATIVE AMERICAN OUTREACH PROGRAMS OFFERED NATIONALLY THAT HEAL, EDUCATE AND EMPOWER FIRST NATIONS PEOPLES, SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR YOUTH, WOMEN, EDUCATORS, COUNSELORS AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS, TO ADDRESS BEHAVIORAL ISSUES, STRENGTHEN LEARNING SKILLS, AND PROVIDE STRESS-REDUCTION THAT REDUCE THE CRADLE TO PRISON PIPELINE. OFFERING HISTORICAL TRAUMA RECOVERY SERVICES, CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS, AND HISTORICAL TRAUMA-INFORMED CLASSROOM TRAININGS TO OFFSET THE HIGH RATES OF YOUTH SUICIDE IN THE NATIVE COMMUNITY. FREEDOM LODGE PROGRAMMING, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF DR. RUBY GIBSON, IS BEING RESEARCHED AND EVALUATED FOR EFFECTIVENESS AND TO DEVELOP BEST PRACTICES. 150 INDIGINOUS PEOPLE WERE DIRECTLY SERVED BY FREEDOM LODGE PROGRAMMING AND THOUSANDS WERE IMPACTED BY ONLINE PRESENTATIONS AND OTHER OUTREACH SERVICES.
