TO STRENGTHEN, SUPPORT AND PROMOTE ECONOMIC VITALITY OF OUR MEMBER BUSINESSES AND THE COMMUNITY INTERESTS OF SUPERIOR.

IN THE WAKE OF THE MARSHALL FIRE, THE CHAMBER SWIFTLY MOBILIZED, RALLYING SUPPORT FROM THE BROADER BUSINESS COMMUNITY TO EXTEND A HELPING HAND. THIS FUND WAS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING NOURISHING MEALS, NOT ONLY TO THOSE DIRECTLY IMPACTED BUT ALSO TO OUR FIRST RESPONDERS. THE RESULT WAS A TOTAL OF 2,930 MEALS WERE DISTRIBUTED. ROUGHLY $8,500 WAS ALLOCATED DIRECTLY TO LOCAL RESTAURANTS, WHILE THE REMAINING FUNDS WENT TOWARDS FOOD TRUCK VENDORS.


ENCOURAGED BUSINESS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES BY HOLDING EVENTS SUCH AS THE SUPERIOR CHAMBER ANNUAL BUSINESS AWARDS, BUSINESS AFTER HOURS EVENTS, AND A CASINO NIGHT WHICH PROVIDED SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS BUSINESSES. SPONSORED A LEADS GROUP AND A HOMEBASED BUSINESS GROUP FOR FURTHER NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. ALSO, PROVIDED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONSULTATION AND PRODUCED A BUSINESS DIRECTORY FOR NEW AND POTENTIAL BUSINESSES FOR THE TOWN OF SUPERIOR.


SPONSORED COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR THE TOWN OF SUPERIOR, INCLUDING A 4TH OF JULY FESTIVAL, AN ARBOR DAY PROGRAM, CHILI AND BEER FEST AND A LOCAL SKATE WITH SANTA EVENT. ALSO SPONSORED THE STUDENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM AND PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS AT MONARCH HIGH SCHOOL.
