CASA OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE'S COURT-APPOINTED TRAINED VOLUNTEERS ADVOCATE IN COURT FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF ABUSE AND NEGLECT IN THE 5TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT OF COLORADO IN ORDER TO FIND THEM SAFE AND PERMANENT HOMES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

TRAINING AND RETAINING HIGH QUALITY VOLUNTEERS TO GATHER INFORMATION IN CASES INVOLVING ABUSE AND NEGLECT. DURING THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2022, CASACD SUPPORTED 42 CHILD ADVOCATE VOLUNTEERS WHO SERVED 52 CHILDREN ON 29 CASES IN DEPENDENCY AND NEGLECT. CASACD ALSO SUPPORTED AN ADDITIONAL 3 CHILD ADVOCATE VOLUNTEERS IN THE TRUANCY PROGRAM WHO SERVED 28 STUDENTS.
