THE MISSION OF VOICES FOR CHILDREN CASA IS TO HELP BREAK THE CYCLE OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT IN BOUDLER COUNTY THROUGH THE USE OF TRAINED CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE) VOLUNTEERS. THE CASAS PROVIDE INVESTIGATION, ADVOCACY, MONITORING, AND DIRECT SERVICE TO THE CHILD VICTIMS.

CASA PROGRAM - THE CASA PROGRAM MATCHES HIGHLY TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ABUSE OR NEGLECT. CASA VOLUNTEERS SPEND TIME WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, REVIEW CASE RECORDS, AND CONFER WITH OTHER PROFESSIONALS TO GATHER INFORMATION AND MAKE COMMON SENSE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE COURT ABOUT WHAT THEY BELIEVE WOULD BE IN THE CHILD'S BEST INTEREST. THE CASA'S GOAL IS TO RECOMMEND A PATH FORWARD TO A SAFE AND PERMANENT HOME AND ANY ADDITIONAL SUPPORTS THAT WILL HELP A CHILD TO THRIVE IN THE WAKE OF TRAUMA.
