CIVIL RIGHTS EDUCATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF DISABILITY RIGHTS THROUGH MONITORING COMPLIANCE WITH CURB REMEDIATION REQUIREMENTS IMPOSED ON 5 DIFFERENT MUNICIPALITIES; SUBMITTING AMICUS BRIEFING ON ISSUES OF CRITICAL IMPORTANCE TO THE DISABLED COMMUNITY; FILING ACTIONS ON BEHALF OF DISABLED STUDENTS DENIED ACCESS TO EDUCATION; REPRESENTING A LOW INCOME HOUSING TENANT DENIED REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION; PURSUING LITIGATION SEEKING COMPREHENSIVE POLICE REFORMS IN FIRST AMENDMENT PROTESTS; PETITIONING FOR RELIEF FROM DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGULATIONS THAT CREATE ACCESSIBILITY BARRIERS IN AIRLINE TRAVEL FOR BLIND GUIDE DOG USERS; PURSUING LITIGATION SEEKING CHANGES TO DETENTION POLICIES IN ICE FACILITIES THAT FAIL TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEEDS OF DISABLED DETAINEES; PROVIDING TRAINING ADDRESSING THE INTERSECTION OF DISABILITY AND IMPROPER POLICE RESPONSE TO FIRST AMENDMENT ACTIONS; AND PARTICIPATING IN PANELS ON THE NEED FOR IMPROVED PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DISASTER RESPONSE MEASURE THAT CONSIDERS THE DISABLED.
