SPRING CREEK, MONTROSE, CO TRAIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT HAS CONNECTED WITH EXISTING TRAILS TO CREATE A ROUTE FROM THE TOP OF THE UNCOMPAGHRE PLATEAU DOWN TO THE BUZZARD GULCH AREA A DESCENT OF OVER 3,500 VERTICAL FEET. ALSO ELECTRIC HILLS, MONTROSE PROJECT CREATED AN ENTIRELY NEW TRAILS SYSTEM FOR THE COMMUNITY OF MONTROSE AND BEYOND. THE SYSTEM IS ON THE WEST SID OF THE CITY IN AN AREA ISOLATED FROM OTHER TRAIL SYSTEMS. IT WILL PROVIDE HIGH ELEVATION EXPERIENCE TO ESCAPE HIGHER TEMPERATURES IN THE VALLEY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
