TO PRESERVE OUR LOCAL HISTORY AND KEEP IT ACCESSIBLE TO THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY, TOURISTS AND VISITORS. VISION IS TO GROW OUR COLLECTION SPACE AND CREATE MORE DYNAMIC EXPERIENCES FOR MUSEUM VISITORS. WHILE BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH DONORS WHO SUPPORT OUR MISSION AND VISION, WE PARTNER WITH AREA BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS TO SHARE THE STORIES OF SHERIDAN COUNTY.

OPERATE THE MUSEUM AT THE BIGHORNS, LOCATED AT 850 SIBLEY CIRCLE, SHERIDAN, WYOMING. MAINTAIN COLLECTIONS AND EXHIBITS PERTAINING TO THE HISTORY OF SHERIDAN COUNTY AND THE CLOSLEY RELATED SURROUNDING AREA AND COMMUNITIES. DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT EDUCATION PLANS FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS TO HELP EDUCATE OUR CITIZENS ON THE RICH HISTORIC AND CULTURAL HERITAGE OF OUR AREA.
