CHAINLESS CHANGE PROVIDED REENTRY AND RECOVERY-BASED RESOURCES TO OVER 250 INDIVIDUALS DURING FY 23. OF THOSE WHO ACCESSED OUR SUPPORT AND REMAINED ENGAGED WITH US FOR AT LEAST THREE MONTHS POST-RELEASE, 70 PERCENT AVOIDED RECIDIVISM. WE ALSO MADE SIGNIFICANT STRIDES IN COMMUNITY BUILDING AND ADVOCACY, ADDRESSING THE ROOT CAUSES OF MASS INCARCERATION. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE ENGAGING JUSTICE-IMPACTED COMMUNITIES IN THE PARTICIPATORY BUDGETING PROCESS AT A COUNTY-LEVEL, SUCCESSFULLY ADVOCATING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE RESPONSE TO POLICING IN THE CITY OF FORT LAUDERDALE, AND ADVANCING EFFORTS TO IMPLEMENT A NON-PUNITIVE, CONTACTLESS COURT OPTION FOR DRIVER'S LICENSE SUSPENSIONS IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.
