THROUGH THE NIA'S CRISIS MITIGATION AND PERSONAL INTERACTIVE REHABILITATION (CPR) PROGRAM, THE NIA'S MAJOR REENTRY PROGRAM, WE WERE ABLE TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE FOR CLOSE TO 120 INDIVIDUALS IN 2023, CONNECTING THEM TO THE RESOURCES THEY NEED, BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE RAZOR WIRE. FIFTY OF THOSE WERE NEW INTAKES.
THE NIA'S WHOLE-WAY HOUSING PROGRAM TURNED FROM DREAM AND CONCEPT INTO REALITY IN 2023 WITH TWO RESIDENTIAL HOMES FOR WOMEN RETURNING FROM PRISON, WHO HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO. WE PROVIDE THEM WITH A WARM, WELCOMING, COMFORTABLE HOME ENVIRONMENT AND WRAP-AROUND SUPPORT SERVICES. EIGHTEEN WOMEN, WHO OTHERWISE MIGHT HAVE ENDED UP HOMELESS AND LIVING ON THE EDGE OF REARREST, HAVE BEEN IN OUR WWH CARE.
