TO BREAK THE BACK OF RECIDIVISM AND RESTORE BROKEN LIVES BY PROVIDING FAITH-BASED DISCIPLESHIP, TRAINING, AND MENTORING FOR PARTICIPANTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE PRISONS. JUMPSTART PARTNERS WITH THE COMMUNITY TO DISCIPLE THE INCARCERATED AND ASSIST RETURNING CITIZENS WITH RE-ENTRY SERVICES.

REHABILITATION PROGRAM IN 17 SC PRISONS WITH ENROLLMENTS TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 1,000 ANNUALLY. THE PROGRAM INCLUDES A 40-WEEK INTENSIVE DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS, PEER-TO-PEER ASSESSMENTS TO ENSURE ACCOUNTABILITY AND DRIVE GROWTH. CURRICULUM FOCUSES ON TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH WORSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, MENTORING, SERVING OTHERS, LIVING WITH PURPOSE, AND REENTRY EDUCATION. CORE VALUES INCLUDE ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY, AND SUBMISSION TO AUTHORITY. OVER 5,000 PARTICIPANTS HAVE BEEN THROUGH THE INSIDE PRISON PROGRAM SINCE INCEPTION, WITH OVER 3,700 GRADUATES ON THE OUTSIDE. GRADUATES' RATE OF RECIDIVISM IS SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER THAN THE NATIONAL AND STATE AVERAGES AT LESS THAN 5%.
PROVISION OF LOW COST, SAFE, AND STABLE HOUSING WITH ACCESS TO PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND DENTAL HEALTHCARE TO 67 CLIENTS DURING 2021, AND MORE THAN 500 SINCE INCEPTION. ALSO PROVIDED INDIVIDUAL CASE MANAGEMENT, MENTORING, AND FINANCIAL STABILITY TRAINING, AS WELL AS TRANSPORTATION TO SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYMENT, AND SHOPPING, ASSISTANCE WITH CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY AS NEEDED, AS WELL AS OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
PROVIDED JOB TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE WITH EMPLOYMENT FOR JUMPSTART PRISON GRADUATES PARTICIPATING IN THE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM. JUMPSTART HAS DEVELOPED NUMEROUS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS WITH EMPLOYERS THAT PROVIDE RESIDENTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO BE HIRED DIRECTLY OR WORK FIRST THROUGH THE ACCELERATOR PROGRAM, WHICH FUNCTIONS AS AN EMPLOYEE LEASING PROGRAM.
