COMMUNITY FEASTSIN 2020 AND 2021 FOODCIRCLE FOUNDATION SPONSORED ANNUAL COVID PANDEMIC RESPONSE FOR THANKSGIVING DINNERS BY MAKING CONTACTLESS THANKSGIVING MEAL KITS DISTRIBUTED BY THE DUWAMISH TRIBE, SEATTLE'S FIRST PEOPLES. IN 2022 FOODCIRCLE FOUNDATION TRANSITIONED TO PROVIDE A NEW HOLLY COMMUNITY FEAST FOR LOW INCOME NEIGHBORS IN THE NEW HOLLY NEIGHBORHOOD OF SEATTLE.


FOODRECOVERY PROGRAMFOODRECOVERY RESCUES FOOD FROM BECOMING FOOD WASTE AND PUTS IT INTO THE HANDS OF SEATTLE'S FOOD INSECURE. AS OF 2022 YEAR END APPROXIMATELY 21,000 LBS OF FOOD HAS BEEN SALVAGED SINCE THE PROGRAM'S INCEPTION.
