COMMUNITY FEASTSIN 2021 FOODCIRCLE FOUNDATION SPONSORED ITS SECOND ANNUAL COVID PANDEMIC RESPONSE FOR THANKSGIVING DINNERS BY MAKING CONTACTLESS THANKSGIVING MEAL KITS DISTRIBUTED BY THE DUWAMISH TRIBE, SEATTLE'S FIRST PEOPLES. 140 BOXES WERE DISTRIBUTED SERVING 560 INDIVIDUAL MEALS.
FOODRECOVERY PROGRAMFOODRECOVERY RESCUES FOOD FROM BECOMING FOOD WASTE AND PUTS IT INTO THE HANDS OF SEATTLE'S FOOD INSECURE. OVER 20,000 LBS OF FOOD WERE SALVAGED IN 2021.
