COMMUNITY PROGRAMS: PROGRESSIVE GAME JAM PROVIDES MENTORSHIP, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING FOR GAME DEVELOPERS IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO REGION. IN 2019, WE HAD 66 PARTICIPANTS. WWW.PROGRESSIVEGAMEJAM.COM. CAPITAL CREATIVE SHOWCASE IS AN ANNUAL EXPOSITION FOR ARTISTS AND GAME DEVELOPERS. THEY GET TO PUBLICLY DISPLAY THEIR WORKS TO CONNECT THEM WITH FANS, CUSTOMERS, AND POTENTIAL EMPLOYERS. IT ALSO BENEFITS THE AREA BY SHOWCASING THE AREA'S TALENTS. THERE WERE 200 PARTICIPANTS IN 2019. WWW.CAPITALCREATIVESHOWCASE.COM. GLOBAL GAME JAM AND GGJ NEXT ARE INTERNATIONAL GAME JAMS FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH, RESPECTIVELY. WE HOST THE SITES IN SACRAMENTO WHICH PROVIDE MENTORSHIP, EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY BUILDING FOR GAME DEVELOPERS AND TRANSLATE THE SKILLS TO WORKFORCE BUILDING. IN 2019 WE HAD 39 ADULT PARTICIPANTS AND 15 YOUTH PARTICIPANTS
