TEACHES NEW SKILL SETS IN FOOD PRODUCTION, FOOD PREPARATION, AND FOOD PRESERVATION 3.) TEACHES PARTICIPANTS HOW TO EAT BETTER GIVEN THE LIMITATIONS OF THE CURRENT FOOD SYSTEM THE COMMUNITY GARDEN WILL EMPLOY METHODS THAT EMPHASIZE BIOTENSIVE, ORGANIC, INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT FOOD PRODUCTION, AND WILL INCLUDE ELEMENTS OF SEASON EXTENSION, COMPOSTING, SUSTAINABLE/CLOSED LOOP SYSTEMS, AND MARKETING.
