HOLA - 2022 ACCOMPLISHMENTS -COMPLETED DEVELOPMENT OF THE 2.1 MILLION HOLA HISPANIC COMMUNITY CENTER, WHICH OPENED IN MAY OF 2022 - PROVIDED 16,805.85 IN DIRECT ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS IN NEED FOR EVERYTHING FROM PRESCRIPTION HELP, TO RENTAL AND UTILITY BILL ASSISTANCE, FOOD AND IMMIGRATION APPLICATION FEES. - ASSISTED 775 INDIVIDUALS WHO SOUGHT HELP AT THE HOLA CENTER. THIS INCLUDES FREE IMMIGRATION CONSULTATIONS, TRANSLATIONS OF DOCUMENTS, MAKING DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS, CONNECTING CLIENTS TO MENTAL HEALTH CARE, HOUSING ASSISTANCE AND MORE. - PARTNERED WITH AUBURN CAREER CENTER TO RECRUIT 17 HISPANIC ADULT STUDENTS TO COMPLETE THE "CERTIFIED PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN" PROGRAM, INCLUDING PROVIDING AN INTERPRETER FOR THE CLASSES. - CONDUCTED A FREE SUMMER READING PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN, READ IN SUMMER AND EXCEL (RISE) WHICH INCLUDED FREE LUNCH, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH MORELY LIBRARY, SERVING 41 CHILDREN - HOSTED SEVERAL JOB HIRING FAIRS WITH AREA EMPLOYERS INCLUDING LOWES, LINCOLN ELECTRIC AND OTHERS. - HELPED OVER 35 INDIVIDUALS AND/OR FAMILIES ACCESS MENTAL HEALTH CARE, INCLUDING COUNSELING ASSESSMENTS
