THE CENTER IN MIDLAND PA EXISTS TO EQUIP AND EMPOWER GENERATIONS THROUGH CHRIST. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY OFFERING VARIOUS PROGRAMS THAT ARE AIMED AT SERVING AND MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE MIDLAND, PA COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

STUDENT MINISTRIES: CHILDREN FROM K4 THROUGH 12TH GRADE ARE OFFERED A SAFE PLACE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY WHERE VARIOUS PROGRAMMING TAKES PLACE INCLUDING MEALS, TUTORING, AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES, BIBLE STUDIES, GROUP AND PEER MENTORING, AND ENRICHMENT CLASSES. THESE PROGRAMS ARE CONDUCTED BY VOLUNTEERS.


THE CENTER IN MIDLAND PA PROVIDES OTHER VARIOUS PROGRAMS TO THE MIDLAND COMMUNITY INCLUDING A FOOD AND CLOTHING BANK, ADULT CLASSES SUCH AS MENTORING, PERSONAL BUDGETING, BIBLE STUDIES, SINGLE PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS, SUMMER CAMPS, AND OTHER VARIOUS PROGRAMS AIMED AT SERVING THE COMMUNITY.


MEALS: THE CENTER IN MIDLAND PA PROVIDES DINNER TO CHILDREN ON TUESDAY AND THURSDAYS THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR AND PROVIDES LUNCH THROUGHOUT THE WEEK DURING THE SUMMER. SNACKS ARE ALSO PROVIDED FOR THE CHILDREN TO TAKE HOME IN THE EVENINGS.


STUDENT FIELD TRIPS: THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES STUDENT THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE VARIOUS FIELD TRIPS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE TRIPS ARE TO A VARIETY OF LOCATIONS TO PROVIDE STUDENTS AN EXPERIENCE TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THEIR HOME COMMUNITY.
