LWD SUMMIT - THE ORGANIZATION TYPICALLY HOSTS AN IN-PERSON ANNUAL SUMMIT, DURING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH, WHERE ATTENDEES HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK, PARTICIPATE IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES, AND PROMOTE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL WELLBEING. ATTENDEES ENGAGE AROUND SESSIONS COVERING A RANGE OF TOPICS, INCLUDING SOCIAL IMPACT, EDUCATION, PHILANTHROPY, INNOVATION, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP. PARTICIPATING WOMEN ALIGN AROUND COLLECTIVE OPPORTUNITY AND IMPACT, WITH A FOCUS ON RAISING THEIR VOICES TO EMPOWER OUR GIRLS. ATTENDEES ALSO PRE-SELECT FROM UNIQUELY CURATED MASTER CLASSES FACILITATED BY LEADING EXPERTS IN AREAS INCLUDING TECH, ARTS & CULTURE, BUSINESS, AND WELLNESS. IN 2021, THE LWD SUMMIT RETURNED AS A VIRTUAL EVENT, WITH A SLATE OF DYNAMIC ONLINE CONTENT THAT REACHED OVER 200 WOMEN.
BOARD MASTER CLASSES - AS PART OF LWD'S YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMMING, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED AN INTIMATE MASTER CLASS FOCUSED ON BOARD PREP AND HOW BEST TO SUCCEED AS A DIRECTOR ON A PUBLIC, PRIVATE, OR NON-PROFIT BOARD. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVED FEEDBACK AROUND KEY ASPECTS (BUILDING A BOARD BIO) OF THE BOARD RECRUITMENT PROCESS, AS WELL AS MENTORSHIP FROM EXPERIENCED BOARD LEADERS.
COCKTAILS & CONVERSATIONS - THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED 2 FALL EVENTS IN NEW YORK AND CALIFORNIA THAT ENABLED THE LWD SISTERHOOD TO GATHER AND CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER. EACH EVENT PROVIDED AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FOSTERING NEW RELATIONSHIPS AND SUSTAINING EXISTING COLLABORATIONS AMONG THOSE ATTENDING.
