TO SUPPORT ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE TOURISM INDUSTRY INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RAISING FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND OTHER SOURCES TO CARRY ON PROGRAMS DIRECTLY AND TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE HOSPITALITY CONVENTION AND TOURISM INDUSTRIES IN THE GREATER PALM SPRINGS REGION INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PROVIDING EDUCATION LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIPS SEMINARS RELIEF FUNDS PROMOTION OF SPECIAL EVENTS VOLUNTEER AND MENTOR DEVELOPMENT AND CULTURAL ENHANCEMENT.

PROVIDED MATCHING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO CITIES WITHIN THE COACHELLA VALLEY FOR EVENTS NEW ATTRACTIONS AND OTHER ENHANCEMENTS TO THE VISITORS' EXPERIENCE.


TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO PEOPLE INTERACTING WITH VISITORS TO THE GREATER PALM SPRINGS REGION WHICH RESULT IN IMPROVING THE VISITORS' EXPERIENCE ENTERED INTO A NEW AGREEMENT WITH COLLEGE OF THE DESERT PACE TO HELP DEVELOP THIS AMBASSADOR TRAINING PROGRAM INTO AN ONLINE SELF-PACED TRAINING OFFERED THROUGH THE FOUNDATION AND COD PACE. THE PARTNERSHIP ALSO INCLUDES CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS THAT PROVIDE SKILLS AND TRAINING FOR WORKERS IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.
