SEA HUGGER'S MISSION IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC TO REDUCE OUR PLASTIC DEPENDENCY, WHILE FOCUSING ON PROTECTING THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT, ENSURING THE INTRINSIC RIGHTS OF AQUATIC LIFE, AND HELPING CREATE SUSTAINABLE COASTAL COMMUNITIES THAT ARE NO LONGER AFFECTED BY PLASTIC POLLUTION.

HOSTED EIGHT PRIVATE BEACH CLEANUPS WITH BUSINESS. 6. FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED LITTER4TOKENS, A SOUTH AFRICAN NGO, THAT EMPLOYS LOCALS TO CLEAN THE BEACHES IN EXCHANGE FOR FOOD, CLOTHING, AND HOUSEHOLD NECESSITIES. 7. FINANCIALLY SUPPORTED TRASH4TOKENS IN MEXICO THAT HAS THE SAME MISSION AS LITTER4TOKENS. 8. ADVOCATED FOR TWELVE FEDERAL AND STATE CONSERVATION LAWS AND ORDINANCES. 9.
