STRAUB OUTDOORS IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION OFFERING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES THAT INCREASE SCIENCE LITERACY, PROMOTE A SUSTAINABLE APPROACH TO DAILY LIFE, CREATE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE NATURAL WORLD, AND INSPIRE ECOLOGICAL STEWARDSHIP.

YOUTH OUTDOOR EDUCATION: IN 2021, STRAUB OUTDOORS OFFERED OUTDOOR SCHOOL, SUMMER CAMPS, WINTER CAMPS, SPRING BREAK CAMPS, ECO EXPLORERS, AND FUTURE FORWARD HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE INTERNSHIPS AND YOUTH SERVICE-LEARNING PROJECTS. 33 PERCENT OF PARTICIPATING STUDENTS IDENTIFIED AS LATINX, INDIGENOUS, BLACK, ASIAN-AMERICAN, OR PACIFIC ISLANDER. 44 PERCENT OF PARTICIPATING STUDENTS WERE SOCIO-ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED. STRAUB OUTDOORS SERVED 962 STUDENTS THROUGH ITS PROGRAMS IN 2021.
