THE MISSION OF VALCORE IS TO PROMOTE RECYCLING, COMPOSTING AND REUSE OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR COMMUNITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED AT OUR RECYCLING CENTER AND THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY THROUGH PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS, AND ZERO WASTE SERVICES.

RECYCLING OPERATION WITH RECOLOGY VALLEJO AND PROVIDES EDUCATION ON RECYCLING AND OTHER ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES INCLUDING ZERO WASTE SERVICES TO THE CITIZENS OF VALLEJO. VALCORE ALSO PROVIDES JOB TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED, AND ON SITE JOB SKILL ASSESSMENT FOR GROUPS, SUCH AS CAMINAR.
VALCORE PARTICIPATES IN NUMEROUS SPECIAL EVENTS BY REQUEST OF THE CITY OF VALLEJO TO MONITOR TRASH AND RECYCLING AT LOCAL EVENTS AND ADVERTISE AND PROVIDE MANPOWER FOR THE STATEWIDE COASTAL CLEAN UP DAY. VALCORE ALSO ORGANIZES AND STAFFS THE VALLEJO EARTH DAY EVENT ANNUALLY AS WELL AS OTHER EVENTS IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES.
