IN 2023, PETRA HOUSE PROVIDED BRIDGE HOUSING AND SAFE REFUGE TO 23 WOMEN AND CHILDREN. SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDED CASE MANAGEMENT TO INCREASE THEIR EDUCATION AND INCOME IN ORDER TO TRANSITION TO STABLE HOUSING. IN THIS PROGRAM, WOMEN CONTRIBUTE A SMALL PORTION OF ANY EARNED INCOME TO HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES.
IN 2023, OUR COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAM PROVIDED DROP IN CARE, CLASSES, AND CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES THAT HELPED PREVENT HOMELESSNESS, ALLEVIATE SUFFERING & PROVIDE HOLISTIC SUPPORT TO 800 PEOPLE.
THE WE PROGRAM CONTINUED TO STRENGTHEN FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITY WITH KIDS 8 AND YOUNGER. IN 2023, WE ASSISTED 33 FAMILIES IN DECREASING THEIR STRESS, INCREASING THEIR SOCIAL SUPPORTS AND IN WORKING TOWARDS THEIR GOALS FOR SAFE, STABLE HOUSING. WE ASSISTED 14 FAMILIES TO EXIT HOMELESSNESS AND MOVE INTO THEIR OWN HOME.
