BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK CONSERVANCY (BNPC) ENGAGES PUBLIC SUPPORT FOR THE PRESERVATION AND CONSERVATION OF BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK, PROMOTES EDUCATION ABOUT THE PARK, ENHANCES PUBLIC USE AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PARK, AND PROTECTS THE PARK'S NATURAL RESOURCES, BEAUTY, WILDLIFE, AND ENVIRONMENT. DURING 2021, BNPC FURTHERED ITS MISSION THROUGH THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS:BNPC RAISED $100,005 TOWARD CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW VISITOR CENTER FOR THE BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK. THESE FUNDS WERE GRANTED TO BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK DURING 2021.BNPC BEGAN FORMAL SUPPORT FOR THE DARK SKY INITIATIVE APPLICATION FOR BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO ASSISTED WITH FUNDING FOR NEW LIGHT INVENTORY OF BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK TO MEET THE DARK SKIES REQUIREMENTS.
