WEBINAR SERIES: DUE TO COVID-19, RAM AND PARTNER ORGANIZATION SWANA HOSTED A SECOND ANNUAL WEBINAR SERIES IN LIEU OF THE ANNUAL RAM/SWANA CONFERENCE. THE SERIES CONSISTED OF 7, 90-MINUTE WEBINARS ON THE TOPICS OF ORGANICS, SOLID WASTE, RECYCLING, BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES, TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIONS, IN-PERSON TOURS OF GREEN FOREST RECYCLING AND CROW WING COUNTY LANDFILL, AND AN IN-PERSON RECEPTION CONNECTED WITH THE SWAA CONFERENCE. OVER THE COURSE OF THESE EVENTS, 119 PEOPLE REGISTERED AND PARTICIPATED. EDUCATIONAL CERTIFICATES WERE PROVIDED TO ATTENDEES.


RAIN BARREL AND COMPOST BIN SALES (RBCB): PROVIDED RAIN BARRELS AND COMPOST BINS TO RESIDENTS OF MINNESOTA WITH SOME GOVERNMENT SPONSORED SUBSIDIES AVAILABLE.


SCOTT COUNTY FILM PLASTIC RECYCLING GRANT: USING MONIES FROM SCOTT COUNTY, RAM WORKED ON STAKEHOLDER OUTREACH AND PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENTS TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF PLASTIC FILM THAT IS RECYCLED THROUGH IN-STORE COLLECTIONS IN THE COUNTY. RAM ALSO CREATED AND STAFFED AN EDUCATIONAL BOOTH AT THE SCOTT COUNTY FAIR.
