USING THE HIGHLY ESTEEMED SKILL OF HORSEBACK RIDING TO INSPIRE YOUTH WHILE ENRICHING THE WHOLE PERSON THROUGH OUR 4 CORE AREAS OF GROWTH.

YOUTH ENGAGE IN LEARNING ACTIVITIES AS IT PERTAINS TO OUR CORE AREAS WHICH INCLUDE HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT WORKFORCE TRAINING AND SPORTSMANSHIP. THIS CONSIST OF AN AFTERSCHOOL SUMMER AND DAY SESSIONS SERVING OVER 200 YOUTH PER YEAR
USING HORSES AND OTHER RANCH ANIMALS TO MOTIVATE YOUTH TO PERFORM WELL IN ACADEMICS HEALTH AND OTHER AREAS. MAINTAINING THE ANIMALS ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO OFFER A UNIQUE AND THERAPEUTIC EXPERIENCE FOR BOTH THE ANIMALS AND PARTICIPANTS.
THE ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY EMPLOYS FORMER YOUTH OF THE PROGRAM AND HAS A WORKFORCE TRAINING COMPONENT WHERE YOUTH GAIN HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY AND OFTEN COME TO WORK AS INTERNS AND YOUTH LEADERS. THEY LEARN OTHER SKILLS AS WELL SUCH AS RESUME AND COVER LETTERS INTERVIEW AND FINANCIAL LITERACY. APPROXIMATELY 20 OF OUR ELIGIBLE TEENAGE STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM ANNUALLY.
