USING THE HIGHLY ESTEEMED SKILL OF HORSEBACK RIDING TO INSPIRE YOUTH, WHILE ENRICHING THE WHOLE PERSON THROUGH OUR FOUR CORE AREAS OF GROWTH.

WESTERN & ENGLISH PROGRAMS - YOUTH ENGAGE IN LEARNING ACTIVITIES AS IT PERTAINS TO OUR CORE AREAS WHICH INCLUDE HEALTHY AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING, ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT, WORKFORCE TRAINING, AND SPORTSMANSHIP. THIS CONSISTS OF AFTERSCHOOL, SUMMER, AND DAY SESSIONS, SERVING OVER 200 YOUTH PER YEAR.


SEE SCHEDULE O - EXPENSES FOR AUTOMOTIVE TO TRANSPORT HORSES AND EQUIPMENT, ADVERTISING, INSURANCE FOR EVENTS.


ANIMAL CARE, FEED AND BOARDING - USING HORSES AND OTHER RANCH ANIMALS TO MOTIVATE YOUTH TO PERFORM WELL IN ACADEMICS, HEALTH AND OTHER AREAS. MAINTAINING THE ANIMALS ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO OFFER A UNIQUE AND THERAPUTIC EXPERIENCE FOR BOTH THE ANIMALS AND PARTICIPANTS.


OUTREACH AND TRAVEL - THE ORGANIZATION PRIMARILY EMPLOYS FORMER YOUTH OF THE PROGRAM AND HAS A WORKFORCE TRAINING COMPONENT WHERE YOUTH GAIN HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY AND OFTEN COME TO WORK AS INTERNS AND YOUTH LEADERS. THEY LEARN OTHER SKILLS AS WELL, SUCH AS WRITING RESUME AND COVER LETTERS, INTERVIEW SKILLS, AND FINANCIAL LITERACY.
