THE ASSOCIATION CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE YOUTH INVOLVED IN THE YOUTH CUTTING BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS FOR COLLEGE TUITION. IN 2016, NO SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS WERE RECEIVED. FUNDS HAVE BEEN SET ASIDE FOR FUTURE RECIPIENTS.THE DIRECT EXPENSES FOR PRODUCING THE CUTTING SHOWS IS REFLECTED IN THE PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES.
REVENUES GENERATED FROM PRODUCING AND MANAGING A CUTTING HORSE CONTEST NCHA HELD A MAJOR REGIONAL CUTTING HORSE CONTEST IN SCOTTSDALE. OUR ORGANIZATION WAS ONE OF THE MAIN SPONSORS FOR THIS EVENT WHICH WAS HELD IN MAY. AT THE APRIL CUTTING A SPECIAL BRIDLELESS CLASS IS HELD TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LOCAL HORSE RELATED CHARITIES.
