TO PROVIDE THE COURT WITH OBJECTIVE INFORMATION REGARDING THE STATUS OF CHILDREN INVOLVED IN ABUSE OR NEGLECT CASES. DUTIES OF THE APPOINTED ADVOCATE WOULD INCLUDE GATHERING INFORMATION, DEVELOPING RECOMMENDATIONS, AND PROVIDING WRITTEN AND VERBAL REPORTS THAT WOULD BE USEFUL IN THE CASES.

CASA CURRENTLY HAS OVER 50 VOLUNTEERS WORKING AS ADVOCATES. SOME CASES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND THE OTHERS ARE STILL IN PROGRESS. CASA CONTINUES TO PROVIDE GENERAL ADVOCACY FOR CHILDREN IN THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM.
