WHITE BUFFALO LAND TRUST HAS FOUR PRIMARY FIELDS OF FOCUS: LAND STEWARDSHIP, EDUCATION AND TRAINING, MONITORING AND RESEARCH, AND ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT. OUR APPROACH IS CIRCULAR WHERE THE REGENERATIVE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES WE MODEL ON THE LAND SERVE AS A LIVING LABORATORY FOR RESEARCH AND TEACHING, WHICH IN TURN IMPROVES OUR LAND STEWARDSHIP PRACTICES AND TRAINS ADDITIONAL FARMERS AND RANCHERS. ALL OF THIS WORK BRINGS REGENERATIVELY PRODUCED PRODUCTS INTO THE MARKETPLACE AND CATALYZES THE FORCES OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND.

WE ESTABLISHED THE 1,000-ACRE CENTER FOR REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE AT THE JALAMA CANYON RANCH IN SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. THE CENTER IS A DEMONSTRATION, LEARNING, AND TEACHING HUB FOR THE EVOLUTION OF LAND STEWARDSHIP AND PARTICIPATING IN THE SOLUTIONS TO THE CLIMATE, BIODIVERSITY, PUBLIC HEALTH, AND FOOD SECURITY CHALLENGES THAT WE FACE TODAY.
WE HAVE INFLUENCED MANAGEMENT PRACTICES ON OVER 77,000 ACRES OF LAND THROUGH OUR CONSULTING AND TRAINING PROGRAMS.
WE HAVE DIRECTLY ENGAGED 860 COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND ANOTHER 9000+ THROUGH OUR OPT-IN DIGITAL COMMUNITY.
