SHOWING WE CARE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO HELP SUPPORT YOUTH TO GAIN ACCESS TO EDUCATION AND SPORTS PROGRAMS. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO HELP THOSE IN LOW INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS OR THOSE CHILDREN AND YOUTH WHO LIVE AT OR BELOW POVERTY. THE FOUNDATION WILL ENCOURAGE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS. THE FOUNDATION WILL ASSIST THEM WITH SCHOOL-BASED OR OTHER TRADITIONAL CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULT'S SPORTS AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS THEY MAY HAVE. THE FOUNDATION BELIEVES THAT SPORT ACTIVITIES AS WELL AS EDUCATION ARE A VITAL COMPONENT IN A CHILD'S LIFE AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS WILL GIVE CHILDREN A PURPOSE AND A SENSE OF DIRECTION. THE FOUNDATION WILL GENERALLY ASSIST IN AREAS WHERE MOST RESIDENTS LIVE AT OR BELOW THE POVERTY LEVEL AND WHERE SPORTS ACTIVITIES ARE FEW AND WHERE EDUCATIONAL NEEDS ARE UNMET.
